Position Details

  • Team Leader, Aquarist
  • The Team Leader, Aquarist will be in charge of feeding schedules, food preparation, daily maintenance of in-tank and external facilities, water analysis, and animal observations
  • The Team Leader, Aquarist will ensure that the best animal welfare animal s welfare practices in accordance with marine educational/research/conservation learning experiences for guests and the local community
  • You will be responsible for maintaining the aquarium exhibits and cultures in accordance with routine and preventative maintenance programs above and in water
  • Proper husbandry techniques will be used to ensure the optimal health of animals including quarantine procedures, water quality analysis, and record keeping

Requirements

  • Our ideal candidate will have Bachelor s Degree in a related field, along with at least 5 years of aquarium experience including quarantine LSS systems. Additionally, you must have a PADI Rescue Scuba Certification
