Supervise and control daily activities at ADCO Onshore Core Stores (ADNOC Onshore Base in Mussafah / Abu Dhabi, and other locations)
Responsibilities
Ensure that all daily activities in core storage facilities are carried out as per ADNOC Onshore HSE policy
Coordinates between the core storage facilities and core laboratories, with inspection tours, if necessary to ensure work qualityEnsure maintenance of equipment and spare parts ordering core material issued to third party for studies is returned and stored in the facility
Ensure inventory, labelling, putting core material in the tracking system for monitoring and racking of core materials in the above mentioned core store facilities
Supervise technicians for their daily core store activities that includes: loading, off-loading, receiving and preparing core inventory, preparing core samples and their entry in the tracking system, routing of core samples and proper storage in rack system, taking digital photographs of slabbed cores on a regular basis and core photographs, core slabbing, plugging, thin section preparation and ensuring correct labelling and storage accessibility
Liaise and coordinate with ADNOC Onshore asset teams, ADNOC Group, service companies, shareholders, and visitors to the core storage facilities for studies and examination of processed and unprocessed core material requested through Core Store Tracking System
Plan, organize and order all consumables and materials for use in the core store
Assist in planning and submit to Senior Coordinator, Geological Services the annual and other periodic forecasts for budget purposes, concerning the core storage facilities
Responsible for allocating required tasks to all Musaffah core store staff and approving subordinates’ monthly time attendance sheet
Requirements
Technical Diploma in Engineering or its equivalent At least 5 years experience in same or similar role, including at least 2 years industry experience for Core Analysis / Geology Lab or equivalent
