Position Details
- Sr Design Executive
- Black & Grey HR is currently representing a leading developer in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Our client is seeking a Sr. Design Executive having experience in designing for residential, hospitality, commercial, or retail projects. The candidate will be responsible for creating excellent designs and associated drawings or specifications, employing engineering or architectural principles to plan the construction of buildings/structures and their various elements. Additionally, utilizing these designs to estimate the materials required for the project effectively.
Responsibilities
- Take an active role in supervising and guiding design consultants while conducting regular monitoring activities.
- Provide comprehensive supervision for all design initiatives, from their initial inception to final implementation.
- Facilitate seamless coordination and cooperation among cross disciplinary teams to guarantee successful project delivery.
- Evaluate shop drawings to ensure their accuracy and alignment with approved plans and design objectives.
- Keep records and generate reports pertaining to design and development projects. Create and manage a database of architectural products that convey the intended direction and implementation guidance of senior decision makers, facilitating an efficient, effective, and integrated design solution.
- Aid in the management, review, and coordination of detailed working drawings and specifications once project approval has been obtained.
- Engage in site analysis, involving the examination of existing conditions and conducting field measurements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in interior design, architecture, or a related design field.
- 4+ years of experience within an architectural field, Real Estate projects preferred.
- GCC or UAE experience is mandatory.
- Skilled in using MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, 3D modeling software like SketchUp or Revit, and other relevant tools.
- Possess a solid understanding of contemporary design trends and construction materials.
- Exhibit strong collaboration skills, functioning effectively as a team player while also excelling in individual project assignments.
