The jobholder is responsible to provide with engineering theories and expertise to support the Utilities plant operations teams, assets, processes, and products to run safely and achieve the planned targets
This role includes; monitoring the respective plants operations, reviewing, analyzing and communicating the assets performance with various stakeholders, providing with the required support to the plant, and critically reviewing the plant processes, while enriching the HSE culture within the respective plant and teams
Responsibilities
Water tube boilers operation
High & super high pressure steam systems generation & let down stations
De-mineralized & polishing units, condensate treatments plant & BFW systems
Ethylene loading jetty & loading arm & metering station operation
Air Separation Unit (ASU)Export/Import pipe lines & metering stations, launching station & pipes networks Operations Control Provide daily operation coordination of the plant to produce safely the targeted quantities with right quality keeping in consideration cost aspect
Review the operating data as per the planned production targets, past and present prevailing conditions including laboratory analysis, operating plant performance; highlight any major deviations from the operating envelopes (parameters), and ensure suitable actions are taken towards their mitigation
Develop Integrity Operating Window for critical equipment and systems in coordination with other departments to ensure the plant is operating at optimum efficiency and safety
Ensure safe, efficient and optimal operability of plant, its operating units and systems
Contributes to the continuous improvement of the facility and its capabilities
Requirements
University degree in Chemical Engineering, or any relevant Engineering Discipline Fluency in English Language; written and oral
Minimum of 5 – 8 years of total experience in Petrochemicals
Minimum of 3 – 6 years of the experience in Plant Operations
Completed the Engineer Development Program (CAMS) Thorough understanding of Borouge products and its classifications Analytical thinking, self-motivated and a good team player Good communication and coordination skill Working knowledge with Microsoft applications
