The Senior Specialist Horizontal Communications/Newsrooms will play a key role across the Emerging Markets hub team by ensuring prioritized story-telling concepts (adidas Brand Campaigns, Horizontal X-Cat Concepts, Commercial Moments) are planned and executed in partnership with the global and local / cluster marketing partners
The role requires a self-starting, highly motivated individual who can work collaboratively across a matrixed brand organization engaging with Global, Regional and Local stakeholders across the business
A strategic mindset coupled with the passion for brand guardianship as well as the operational skillset to speak with expert level confidence will be required to be successful in this role
Responsibilities
Horizontal oversight across brand and commercial moments
Support in developing of market comms toolkits as required or supplementing global tools via localization
Ensure global updates are regularly communicated in line with OTIF milestones and the Emerging Markets end to end campaign process and feedback from local partners is shared back to global partners to help shape toolkits and direction
Follow through of end2end campaign process by working with brand activation team and clusters to deliver go to market plans
Ensure global and Emerging Markets guidelines are upheld during all execution of the brand activation
Manage newsroom calendar at market level and work alongside clusters on their local newsroom content to ensure it adheres to global brand guidelines and comms strategy
Support local campaign launch plans around key stories and content for social channels
Develop connect plans for social content with
com and adiclub and create strategies to elevate social content on digital partner social channels
Monthly reports on newsroom performance across key channels
Newsroom reporting for tier 1 and tier 2 campaigns as per the calendar
Set up relevant newsroom dashboards for key campaigns
Elevate key EM stories on global channels
Drive strategic PR initiatives such as press preview, spokesperson training, editorial comms and create effective targeting strategies
Partner with the SPOMA / EIM teams to activate partner publishing briefs
