Position Details
- Senior Billing Accountant
- All billing formalities pertaining to discharge of Inpatients and day case patients.
- Checking of Insurance / Credit Companies bills on a day to day basis.
- Submission and filling of insurance claims / invoices and relevant documents.
Responsibilities
- Entering Patient Charge Sheet, Telephone and Cafeteria bills for Inpatients on a day to day basis.
- Covering Cashier whenever required.
- Follow-up with patients outstanding and insurance rejection.
- Dependability
- Supports the Hospital Policies and Procedures
- Supports the Department Policies & Policies.
- Timely and meets deadlines.
- Maintain upto date knowledge of Departmental Policies and Procedures.
- Attends meetings relating to Safety, Environment of Care and Infection Controls.
- Proficient in Spreadsheet.
- Proficient in the software modules.
Requirements
- Graduate.
- At least three (3) years in similar field.
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer literacy essential.
