You will be working as Sales Manager – Power Automation, will be the part of Process Automation Business Area for Energy Industries division based in Abu Dhabi, UAE
In this role you will be responsible for contributing to the development and maintenance of an effective sales strategy for ABB PAEN Division for products and/or services and/or solutions in P&W markets in the cluster in order for improving ABB’s market penetration and realizing growth aspirations in the assigned scope, contributing to setting, planning of ABB PAEN sales strategy in the P&W market within the Cluster and actively ensures its execution aimed at achieving both qualitative and quantitative sales targets for products and/or systems and/or services in a profitable way, order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, sales productivity, and customer satisfaction
Responsibilities
Monitoring sales performance, ensuring development and implementation of corrective actions to secure business growth when and where needed, contributing on developing and coaching the sales organization (other sales managers and sales specialists within scope) to exceed the sales targets through high performance
Creating added value for the customer and ABB and ensuring the successful outcome of transactions, contracts and proposals by using effective sales techniques, communicating details in accordance with ABB offering and strategy (delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions) and customer acquisition and relations
Identifying and evaluating opportunities with existing and potential new customers, establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships to understand customer needs, promoting customer understanding of full product/systems/ services offering and aligning to provide a solution
Identifying, monitoring and maintaining/exceeding the sales market price levels, evaluating with product management pricing impact on the results, supporting local sales organizations to ensure achievement of sales volume and product mix targets
Monitoring client financial status and reporting any changes regarding risk to relevant internal partner teams, identifying and managing potential risks relating to contract agreements across customers/channels including cyber security risks
Managing administrative procedures in sales processes and supporting collection and project management activities when needed, reviewing offers in coordination with the bid and proposal department, reviewing the appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers, including prices and trading conditions
