- Black & Grey HR is recruiting for a front-runner in advanced building and infrastructure solutions across the UAE. Our client is looking to hire a Project Engineer with expertise in critical power solutions, such as UPS systems, DC systems, and energy storage, the ideal candidate should be adept in designing, implementing, and maintaining these systems. This role is pivotal in ensuring the reliability and peak performance of mission-critical infrastructure. If you have the technical prowess and experience to thrive in this essential position.
Responsibilities
- Design and Engineering: Develop comprehensive power system designs based on client requirements and industry standards, conducting load analysis, equipment selection, and creating detailed engineering plans.
- Installation and Commissioning: Oversee the installation and commissioning of critical power systems, ensuring they are correctly set up, comply with safety standards, and operate optimally.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support to project teams, clients, and service technicians, assisting in diagnosing and resolving issues related to critical power systems.
- Project Management: Manage critical power projects from initiation to completion, including project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Quality Assurance: Implement quality control processes to ensure the reliability and performance of critical power solutions.
- Documentation: Maintain meticulous records, drawings, and documentation for all critical power projects in compliance with industry regulations.
- Research and Development: Stay abreast of the latest technologies and trends in critical power solutions, identifying opportunities for innovation and system enhancements.
- Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with sales teams to provide technical expertise during client presentations and proposals, ensuring the delivery of tailored solutions.
- Installation and Maintenance: Oversee the correct installation and ensure ongoing maintenance of critical power systems, addressing issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Compliance: Ensure all critical power solutions adhere to local regulations, industry standards, and safety protocols.
- Client Training: Train clients and end-users on the operation and maintenance of critical power systems, fostering understanding and self-sufficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in critical power system design and engineering in UAE
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and power system analysis tools.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations (e.g., NEC, NEMA, IEEE).
- Proficiency in power system design software and simulation tools.
- Knowledge of local electrical codes and regulations in UAE.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Project management experience is a plus.
