Position Details
- Principal Integration Architect
- This is a fantastic opportunity for an Integration Architect to join a leading retail group in the middle east, working as part of the IT Services team
- The candidate will work with other solution architects in the team to support the new transformation program, and other key projects within the group
- As an Integration Architect you will be primarily focused on developing MuleSoft based solutions for the digital transformation projects within the group
- You will apply your experience to build reusable services connecting our new digital platforms with our traditional ERP systems
- You will be the champion constantly promoting reuse of services, data and components whilst ensuring the complexity of the overall integration landscape is manageable
Responsibilities
- You will develop high quality enterprise integration solutions that meet the demanding challenges on usability, resilience, performance, scalability and security
- You will critically assess existing designs, elevating standards by applying modern integration patterns consistently throughout our eco system.
- You will also apply your Mulesoft skills to maximize business benefit and help build a coherent strategy for hosting and deploying our Mulesoft stack.
- You will work in cross discipline, agile and distributed team structures.
- You will be working in a community of Software Engineers and help contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process, practices, tools and techniques.
- You will be hands on and act a technical lead when required.
- Mentor and enable team members in delivering the project effectively.
- Ensuring the standards, guidelines, code quality criteria are met in every phase of delivery.
- Assist in technical POC’s to create innovative technical solutions.
- Provide technical leadership (platform, best practices, standards, guidelines, roadmaps) to development teams that are using the API platform
- Communicate and collaborate with various stakeholders ensuring correct, effective on time implementation of Integration solutions
- Create reusable artifacts, standards, templates, guidelines, patterns to be used by other team members.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in the following disciplines Computing, Engineering or Mathematics
- Experience working as an integration architect, shaping the solution and leading technical delivery of large / complex enterprise integration solutions
- 7+ years of experience working in enterprise application integration
- 7+ years of experience with MuleSoft Product and features.
- Experience with Anypoint platform set up including identity management, Client management, Roles and access, environment, VPC, DLB, VPC sizing, firewalls, network, cloud concepts etc
- Hands on development experience in Mule 4.x including RAML design, REST API design, Flow, Sub flow, message processor, connectors, components, scopes, flow control, error handling, batch processing, Dataweave 2.x, java, custom connector SDK, MUnits, etc.
- Experience with various deployment options in MuleSoft e.g., cloudhub, on premise, RTF, PCF and private cloud etc
- Experience in Core Java, Messaging (JMS), Web API SOAP, REST, XML, YAML, CSV, TCP, WebSocket, HTTP, REST, JSON, SOAP, JDBC, JMS, FTP, etc.
- Experience with Services Oriented Architecture and RESTful Architecture, web services, microservices Architecture.
- Experience in creating HLD and LLD along with knowledge in UML to create related artifact
- Experience and understanding of complete API lifecycle.
- Experience in implementing security aspects including API security, authentication, authorization, message & transport level security.
- Experience in designing performant, scalable, fault tolerant and highly available application architecture
- Experience with DevOps, CI/CD concepts and build pipelines using Jenkins, Maven, git, docker, ansible, etc.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Experience using Agile, Scrum and iterative development practice
- Good to have MuleSoft Integration/platform Architect certification.
- Has experience implementing solutions in the cloud utilizing both IaaS and PaaS components.
