Position Details

  • Are you a hands-on, resourceful, organized professional, and eager to deliver quality business results? Do you enjoy being a problem solver and being solutions orientated, whilst having the ability to manage a team, and being methodical and meticulous with planning and running an IT department? The Manager – IT Office Operations is responsible for the day-to-day service delivery and operations of the IT department, and responsible for the delivery of consistent IT support services to Atlantis Dubai
  • As the Manager – IT Office Operations, you will manage the staffing schedule and resource planning for the entire IT team, ensuring adequate coverage across all internal IT functions and across both Atlantis hotels
  • You will be responsible for IT portfolio management consisting of IT asset inventory, capacity planning, IT Licensing, IT procurement, contract renewals, and financial P&L reviews, whilst also being responsible for coordinating all operational and capital expense budgets
  • You will also be responsible for the performance management of direct reports and assisting in the selection of talent and succession planning processes, whilst also appropriately managing resources in accordance with business demands
  • Another essential aspect of this role will include acting as an IT business partner, providing guidance regarding the planning, execution and follow through on all tactical IT projects, whether IT or business initiated, and facilitating meetings with departmental stakeholders and champions to identify automation and operational improvements

Requirements

  • The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years experience in a similar role with exposure to related businesses or technologies
  • You must have previous experience overseeing a team and have a proven track record in management of people and managing the operation of an office environment, including scheduling staff, reporting and inventory control
  • It is essential that you have a strong understanding of IT processes and administrative tasks, IT service delivery and project management, as well as possessing exceptional stakeholder management skills
  • Having an IT background or possessing a strong understanding of IT processes and service delivery/project management will be advantageous, and having a diploma or degree in computer science or business management is preferable
