Position Details

  • Industry Marketing Gd Communications
  • In this role, you will be responsible for creating and executing internal and external marketing communications plans and campaigns to grow volume, revenues, and profit within identified targeted audiences driving collaboration for marketing and communications activities across all Hub Divisions and sales channels globally.
  • The manager creates compelling messages and content, in line with the global business strategy, to ensure existing and future customers have the right message, offer and experience.
  • The manager delivers customer insights and sales enablement tools to ensure customer pain points and the voice of the customer are well understood by all stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic and integrated marketing communications plans for selected Industries in coordination with the BL and Hub Marketing and Communications Managers and global division communications team.
  • Support product management by managing product launch communications and ongoing lifecycle communications initiatives. Create content and maintain all global marketing material, white papers, web pages, interactive demos, videos etc. in adherence to global ABB brand guidelines.
  • Execute global campaigns for demand generation and work with Hub Communications Managers and the Marketing Automation team to ensure awareness and lead generation campaigns are supported with compelling (product and industry) content.
  • Create and implement engaging messaging / value propositions around industry pain points and represent the complete PAEN offering in assigned industries.
  • Create and maintain industry sales collateral, white papers, applications, web pages, interactive demos, etc. with agencies. Manage communication and coordination with other divisions to leverage their content, align messaging, and incorporate PAEN technology highlights into their communications.
  • Collaborate with the PAEN marketing and communications team to ensure that ABB sales, channels, and customers receive the latest product news and tools.
  • Work closely with and brief external communications agencies. Define KPIs, measure results, and control budgets.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in a similar role within industrial companies
  • Open minded, independent, and ready to explore new things and challenges every day.
  • Strong marketing communication and project management skills and creativity
  • Self starter, strong networker with an interest in technology issues and strategic thinking capability combined with a hands on approach to translate plans into actions and monitor and report on progress.
  • Able to express technically complex content in easy to understand form
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage several large projects at any given time
  • Fluent in English
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and SharePoint
