- Black & Grey HR is recruiting for a leading industrial automation engineering and consulting firm in the UAE
- Their comprehensive, tailor made, integrated, and IoT powered solutions cater for a wide spectrum of clients across various industries
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions for our clients in various industries
- As an Industrial Automation Engineer, you will play a critical role in delivering cutting edge automation systems that improve our clients’ operations
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to understand their automation needs and requirements.
- Design and develop customized automation solutions that address client objectives.
- Utilize state of the art industrial automation technologies and software to create efficient and reliable systems.
- Write, test, and debug PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) and HMI (Human Machine Interface) code.
- Integrate automation systems with existing machinery and equipment.
- Ensure seamless communication between different components and systems.
- Conduct thorough testing and validation of automation systems to ensure they meet performance and safety standards.
- Identify and resolve any issues or malfunctions in the automation systems.
- Provide on site support for system commissioning and startup.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation, including system specifications, user manuals, and as built drawings.
- Maintain accurate project records and reports to track progress and performance.
- Work closely with clients to provide technical support, address concerns, and ensure client satisfaction.
- Offer training and guidance to clients and end users on operating and maintaining the automation systems.
- Keep up to date with advancements in industrial automation technology and best practices.
- Recommend innovative solutions to improve automation processes and enhance system performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in industrial automation engineering and system integration.
- Strong knowledge of industrial communication protocols
- Familiarity with SCADA systems and data acquisition.
- Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Willingness to travel to client sites within the UAE as needed.
