Position Details
- AECOMs Transportation Team provides a full range of traffic and transportation planning services and is a key component in the Civil Infrastructure Business Line

- We envisage being the Middle East Centre of Excellence in all aspects of transport planning, but particularly in multi-modal transport master planning and transport modelling
Responsibilities
- Contribute to successful project completion by providing technical services in accordance with project time, quality and cost objectives as agreed with the Project Manager
- Maintain, enhance and apply both transport modelling and planning knowledge
- Continuously improve technical and industry knowledge by participating in forums and other industry related programs
- Research, analyze and report on a range of quantitative and qualitative transport modelling and planning related projects
- Assist in the preparation of tender submissions
- Provide input to technical note and study report
- Undertake data recording and analysis tasks
- Undertake modelling and analysis tasks
- Review internal processes for effectiveness and efficiency and suggest possible areas for improvement where necessary
Requirements
- This role is only open to UAE Nationals
- Bachelor or Masters Degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Transportation Planning subjects from an accredited University
- Must have graduated within the last 24 months or graduating no later than June 2023
- Successful applicants must have a minimum 3
- 3 GPA or 2:1 (or equivalent) and above
- Transport Planning or traffic engineering modules or experience would be an advantage
