Position Details
- AECOMs rapidly growing ESG Advisory team is seeking experienced consultants to join our team, based in the UAE
- In this role, you will join our 40+ strong team of passionate and dedicated regional and global senior ESG advisers offering our clients the benefits of their experience addressing the risks and opportunities that a maturing ESG landscape provides
Responsibilities
- As a senior member of our ESG Advisory team, your responsibilities will include:
- Growth : working with our client account managers and marketing leads, to create and identify ESG opportunities, leading the capture of high-profile projects that will grow our ESG Advisory portfolio and contribute to strategic commissions
- Project leadership : leading our ESG and sustainability teams to deliver for our clients on secured ESG Advisory work and following up with insights for our key client account managers on pull-through work opportunities
- Expertise : offering your technical expertise and industry knowledge to our business leaders and to our marketing and communications teams, securing thought leadership and speaking opportunities that demonstrate your insights and experience Strategy : supporting the ESG Advisory practice lead and senior management with strategic support to grow the business
- Capacity : supporting the technical development of the ESG Advisory practice and bringing in additional recruits to the business while developing the career progression of colleagues to reach their full potential
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree is required in a related field
- Track record developing new ESG focused consultancy opportunities and writing winning proposals
- Evidenced portfolio of projects where you have advised clients on ESG strategies and pathways that are supporting transition to a sustainable, low carbon future
- Robust understanding of the global ESG reporting ecosystem and disclosure standards including SASB, GRI, GRESB, TCFD, CDP, Eco
- Vadis, the GHG Protocol and SBTi
- Financial acumen, allowing you to understand the market context of a clients ESG aspirations and offer solutions that support a viable business case
- Experience leading and managing projects that deliver required client outcomes within time and budget
