Position Details
- Electrification Sustainability Internship Program
- We are offering to outstanding students the chance to join our multidisciplinary team of operations managers in the field of Circularity and Sustainability.
- In the frame of a six month internship (extension possible) in Electrification Service division, you will be able to put theory into practice by contributing to one of our projects on creating a comprehensive project management plan for a “Supplier Emissions Reduction” project.
- This crucial task will help us collaborate with our suppliers to reduce emissions and create a more sustainable supply chain. Make it your story!
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the sustainability and procurement teams to gather information on current supplier emissions and sustainability practices.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities for emissions reduction within our supplier network.
- Develop a project management plan outlining the objectives, scope, timeline, resources, and key performance indicators for the “Supplier Emissions Reduction” project.
- Work closely with cross functional teams to ensure alignment with company goals and sustainability targets.
- Implement tools and methodologies to measure and track supplier emissions reduction progress.
- Collaborate with suppliers to set achievable emissions reduction targets and support them in implementing sustainable practices.
- Monitor and report on the project’s progress regularly, identifying any obstacles and proposing solutions to achieve project goals.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and industry standards throughout the project.
Requirements
- Final year student in Operations Management, Project Management, Engineering, Sustainability, Environmental Studies, or a related field.
- Sound knowledge of project management and the Electrical Industry market
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct data driven assessments and develop actionable roadmaps.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex ideas effectively.
- Proactive and self motivated with a keen eye for detail and a drive for continuous improvement.
- Fluent command of English, both written and spoken
