Position Details
- The role involves both inspection and the supervision of junior inspectors on civil projects
- Provide assistance to the Project Engineer/Site Engineer
- Responsible for supervising, directing and coordinating the inspection team
Responsibilities
- Conduct weekly meetings with inspectors and Project Engineer
- Monitor contractor QA/QC activities and maintain records
- Ensuring that responses are complete and in compliance with the contract documents
- Where problems are found, work with Project Engineer to resolve
- Audit inspections for conformity to contract documents and contractor submitted plans
- Assist to identify, respond to or evaluate technical issues
Requirements
- 10 years experience overall
- 7 years experience in the UAE
- Degree in civil engineering
