To carry out quality checks and furnishing works on furniture items before the delivery and ensure products are ready to deliver as per the specifications and quality standards thereby achieving high customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Visit customer s premises for quality checks and repairs where appropriate
Carry out fit-out/ finishing works for final jobs on all furniture works (E.g. fixing of furniture, cabinets or any other household furniture) as per specifications and quality standards.
Perform assigned tasks within specified timeframes and as per coverage area assigned.
Carry out the protection of finished works effectively through the preparation of adequate plywood covers, etc. as instructed.
Manage the tool box assigned and replace tools as and when necessary.
Maintain HSE practices in the working environment in order to minimize the opportunity of damage property and injury to self and colleagues. Pro-actively remind colleagues to behave in line with the HSE processes defined by the company.
Ensure all furniture leaving in the warehouse is thoroughly inspected and fixed to meet high quality expectations.
All returns with quality issues from customer and store should be checked and repaired wherever possible in order to salvage any loss.
Requirements
2 3 years as a skilled carpenter in interiors / civil industry
