Position Details

  • Assistant Manager Learning And Development
  • We’re on a look out for an energetic and innovative Learning and Development individual who is naturally passionate about hospitality industry and thrives in fast paced environment
  • Assistant Manager, Learning and Development will work closely with the Manager on ensuring that the functions of learning and development are carried out effectively and professionally
  • You will be closely involved in facilitating regular high volume orientation programs, developing content as well as managing diverse projects related to enhancing colleague and guest experience
  • Working alongside the designated pool of departmental trainers as well as conducting training needs analysis is a big part of this role
  • You will ensure traninig records are up to date and manage various data metrics in the Learning Management System

Requirements

  • To be successful in this role you’ll need to have extensive experience in delivering and designing training programs and be in a supervisory role for at least 2 years
  • You will posses excellent communication skills and be comfortable handling coaching conversations with a necessary level of tact and insight
  • Fluency with Microsoft Office package as well as digital and web based learning tools is mandatory
  • We’re preferably looking for candidates with luxury hospitality background who are fluent with Forbes Guide standards
  • Knowledge of additional languages like Spanish, French, Russian, Italian or Mandarin will be a plus
