Position Details
- Review Aircraft Technical Logs and track time and cycles of aircraft by insertion into the MITS.
- Record, track and monitor defects, with particular attention to recurring defects, frequent replacement of a particular component, inaccurate and ineffective rectification of defects & report to Technical Services.
- Track deferred defects and plan their rectification within prescribed limits.
- Utilize the MITS for continuous monitoring and updates of operated aircraft maintenance status communicating immediately to operations / Key Account any event of aircraft unserviceability or unavailability for any airworthiness associated reason
- Monitoring of scheduled maintenance requirements and preparation and issue work orders in a timely manner to ensure on time coordination, including spares ordering and availability, and compliance.
- Represent the CAMO team and communicate fleet status and planning during the daily company operations meeting.
- Provide telephone support to flight crew to coordinate away from base maintenance support when necessary.
- Coordinate AOG recovery with suitably approved maintenance organizations.
- Present quotations for acceptance of aircraft owner or assigned representatives prior to execution of contracted maintenance.
- Coordination with Key Account department to support operational needs and requirements of aircraft schedule.
- Update of company I.T systems used in the operational control of the aircraft.
- Notify Operations/Key Account immediately of any reason of aircraft unavailability.
Responsibilities
- Initiate and participate in pre-input meetings with contracted AMO.
- Assist contracted AMO to provide oversight for scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance
- Review maintenance providers closure of work packs and the issued CRS for completeness and correctness prior to aircraft release back to operations and first flight post maintenance.
- Post maintenance event MITS update ensuring the aircraft airworthiness status is always accurately presented.
- Receipt and verification of original workpacks for correctness and follow on tasks IAW approved procedures including, where applicable, updating of applicable log books.
- Recording, indexing and storage of original aircraft records within the secure aircraft records storage.
- Monthly update of applicable aircraft Log Books in either digital or hard copy format as applicable
- Submission of Engine Trend Downloads to unpacking/analysis providers.
- Assist Quality & Safety departments in MOC or investigations of a technical or CAMO procedural matter.
- Liaison with OEM s in technical or administrative matters where necessary.
- Assist the finance department in monthly invoicing for services rendered to the managed aircraft.
- Other duties as assigned by Director Maintenance or outlined in other company issued technical publications within their scope of competence.
Requirements
- High School Certificate, or equivalent
- Valid unrestricted UAE driver s license
- 5 years relevant experience within a maintenance control environment.
- VIP Business Jet Operations, experience essential
- Operational experience of Bombardier, Dassault, ACJ business jets
- knowledge of a relevant sample of the type(s) of aircraft gained through a formalised training course(s) which are at least at a level equivalent to Level 1 General Familiarization.
- Relevant aeronautical airworthiness or maintenance training or 10 years minimum relevant experience.
- Detail oriented methodical approach to solving/performing tasks
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, take initiative and work under pressure
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of UAE/EASA CAR/PART M/Part 21 & 145
- Practical Knowledge of CAMP,AMOS & MS Office
