Gathers and organizes information from many sources, coordinates priorities with the manager, transmits the data to the appropriate support group for review, word processing or graphics design work
Job Responsibilities
Provides administrative support to, and may perform research for, the Business Development Manager in the preparation of business development plans and the annual financial plan
Participates in resource planning to enable the manager to meet all production milestones
Assembles the master originals from which the reproduction of the proposal, qualifications document, or presentation materials are printed
Schedules the reproduction of proposal deliverables with the appropriate support groups, communicating deadlines and confirming the requirements are completely understood
Proposes practical solutions to production problems as they arise
Edits and organizes all written technical materials supplied by support groups including organization of chapters, tables, exhibits, and attachments
Job Requirements
Degree in Business Administration (or equivalent)Minimum 5 years of related work experience in an administrative capacity, including some editing or publishing experience is requiredStrong written and oral communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are required, as well as a demonstrated ability in exercising tact and diplomacy for resolving production problems in stressful situations
