The Sea Logistics development manager drives the growth strategy of the UAE & Oman Sea Logistics Organization
This includes but is not limited to identification of business opportunities, building pipelines and creating solutions by connecting internal and external stakeholders
Job Responsibilities
Develop our sales pipeline to achieve our growth targets
This requires close collaboration with Business Development Managers, Sales and Customer Care to develop existing business and identify new opportunities
This includes self-driven pipeline development by analyzing historical figures and data, regular alignments with overseas counterparts as well as exploring the market, conducting or obtaining market studies, participation of exhibitions and networking events
Create action plans together with the Management, National Sea Logistics Development Manager and Pricing Teams to transform opportunities into business
Manage carrier strategy on country level, including managing local carrier contacts, local rates negotiations, allocations and bilateral process in alignment with management, regional and national trade and development teams
Job Requirements
To be considered, you should have at least 5 years of experience as sales person in logistics with focus on sea logistics field
You possess a positive attitude, strong influencing skills, and an eye for business opportunities
You will also demonstrate the ability to multi-task and follow through on commitments made to the customer
Effective communication abilities in English is essential to the success of this role
