To assist the Assistant Reservations Manager in the operation and requirements of the department
In absence of the Asst Reservation Manager, to be able to take on responsibility for the Reservation Department in conjunction with the Assistant Reservations Manager
Job Responsibilities
To ensure the reservation sales agents are filling the responsibilities as outlined in their job descriptions
Supervising the day to day running of the reservation department ensuring that the workload is distributed and completed in a timely and professional manner
Understand the key principles of JA Hotels & Resorts strategies and Revenue ManagementBAR, Electronic distribution, Travel agent, Groups, OtherRate Restrictions, hurdles, and availabilities
Job Requirements
Ensure reservations meet the property standards in terms of accuracy of data and guest satisfactionComplete understanding and effective execution of current and new RM tools, including Protel
Be involved in all property PMS ConversionsComplete understand and effective use of the Hotel’s telephone system
