Job Position
- Wood is currently inviting applications of Principal Mechanical Static Equipment Engineers – Yard for an FPSO project to be based in Dubai Drydocks
Job Responsibilities
- Equipment repair and overhaul and Brownfield ModificationSupervises and leads a group of engineers Provides technical direction over a group and is responsible for coaching and developing young professionalsMaintain a high standard and quality of work with respect to engineering and design deliverablesReview and approve all mechanical engineering deliverables in a projectParticipate and contribute to various design review sessions, HSE workshops etc
- Participate in technical meetings and handle discussions with client engineers
Job Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering, as minimumMinimum of 10 years of experience in Oil and Gas industryA specialist and detailed knowledge of the major mechanical equipment types, especially on compressor package and package managementExperience of working with multi – national and multi – cultural project teams is strongly preferredPrevious experience of working in the Middle East would be an advantage
