Job Position
- Responsible for the daily operational management of the delivery services division within the wider transport BU: responsible for the operational KPIs to achieve highest level of service and manage the overall cost and service levels to both internal and external clients
Job Responsibilities
- Accountable for the operational P&L, monitoring the annual spend against budget and reporting on variancesResponsible for executing vehicle scheduling, route planning and managing transport for delivery servicesManage daily operations ensuring drivers daily schedules are planned and optimized to achieve the BU standard KPI benchmarks in all areasPlay a key role in the development of the strategic growth plans for the domestic delivery market
Job Requirements
- Experience in parcel delivery sectorProven work experience as an operations/transportation Manager or similar roleSolid knowledge of supply chain managementFamiliarity with logistics or transport software planning systemsExperience in optimising employees’ talent to support the company’s goals
