Job Position
- The Site Electrical Inspector will assist the Resident Engineer (RE) or Assistance Resident Engineer (ARE) in Electrical Works and will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical installations and equipment on site comply with the relevant Project specifications, standards/regulations, Shop drawing and Method of Construction/Installation
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections and tests of electrical installations and equipment on site
- Ensure compliance with local and international electrical standards and regulations
- Identify and report any electrical faults or issues and make recommendations for repair or replacement
- Verify the quality of electrical workmanship and materials used on site
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and findings
- Review and approve electrical submittals and shop drawings
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in electrical engineering or a related fieldAt least 5 years of experience as an electrical inspector in a consultancy or engineering environment for Infrastructural ProjectsFamiliarity with electrical systems and equipment, including power, lighting, low voltage, and other electrical systems in Abu Dhabi local authority
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities
