Contract Logistics Business Development Manager will be responsible to develop existing or new Contract Logistics business within the given strategy for a country and / or a cluster
They are the primary contact within a country/cluster with regard to Contract Logistics business
Job Responsibilities
Draft a strategy and Business development plan for the country/cluster specific Contract Logistics Market and update the related activities on a yearly basis
Develop strong opportunity pipeline for Contract Logistics sales opportunities and driving tactical sales measures to fill idle space
Identify contacts of potential and target customers align with strategy [industry, products, and geographies], open doors and start a relationship on local level
Prioritisation of Industry focus and customers (TOP200, R/NKA´s) for the country
Value assessment of tenders and opportunities for Contract Logistics, initiating of Go no Go decision process (must for TOP 200 Accounts)
Job Requirements
Experience (5+ years) with national sales, account management, and proven success in business development
Solid understanding and experience of the theory and practice of supply chain management, transportation management in particular
Experience in Retail, High-tech, Industrials/chemicals, and Automotive or Pharmaceutical/Healthcare industries
Ability to provide clear direction to operations support staff to gather necessary data and implement the right solution
