Prepare all related medical reports according to established guidelines and flag it requiring the attention of the supervisor or dictator
And use appropriate reference materials to facilitate the accuracy, clarity, and completeness of reports
Job Responsibilities
Return dictated reports in printed or electronic form for physicians' review, signature, and corrections, and for inclusion in patients' medical records
Transcribe and interpret dictation by physicians and other healthcare providers in order to document patient care
Type letters, other correspondence and special reports as requested
Understand and comply with policies and procedures related to medico legal matters, including confidentiality, amendment of medical records, etc
And meet standards of professional and ethical conduct
