Position Details

  • Administrator, Supply Chain Administration
  • Are you a versatile person who can cope with the ever-expanding supply chain industry? Are you ready to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously? Do you enjoy providing operational support and working with attention to detail in a fast-moving environment? If so, then this vacancy is for you!
  • As an Administrator within the Supply Chain Administration Team you will be responsible for creating item codes and maintaining a large master database
  • This position has the responsibility to ensure data integrity of the supplier base and correctness of the interfaces and updates
  • You will assist with various administrative queries, perform numerous updates in procurement systems and serve as the point of contact for our systems end users
  • This role requires independent and professional judgment and reports to the Assistant Manager, Procurement

Requirements

  • Ideally, we d like you to have a relevant Bachelor s Degree from an accredited university preferably in Supply Chain, International Business or Business Administration with a minimum of 1 2 years experience within in a similar capacity
  • Sound knowledge of the procurement processes, exceptional communication skills, logical reasoning, analytical skills and exceptional attention to details are necessary to succeed in this role
  • You will have experience with various systems, including contract software, ERP, and e-Sourcing
  • You will have to demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, and be able to interface effectively with all levels of management
  • In this role, you will have the natural ability to effectively influence through knowledge and to engage and follow through methodically with complaints and tasks
