Position Details

  • Assistant Key Account Manager
  • To build strong trading partnerships with Key Account Customers and to represent Almarai for all categories and Business Units. To maximize sales and profit in Key Accounts by managing LTA spend, listing of products, analyzing sales performance, visiting markets, surveying customer satisfactions, increasing in store space and visibility. Planning and managing promotional activities in coordination with Business Units and marketing teams and implementing through regional sales teams.

Responsibilities

  • Manage LTA contracts and funds to reduce the spend and maximize sales and profitability.
  • List all new NPD s timely and ensure updated products in the retail database to ensure availability and maintain correct pricing.
  • Negotiate LTA space, payment agreement, rebates, promotions to ensure we get the most efficient trading terms.
  • Space agreements optimization to maximize visibility.
  • Plan and execute promotional activities to counterattack competitor activities and increases Almarai purchase.
  • Maintain customer relationship to build profitable business. (Continuous communication)
  • Analyze sales performance to identify sales opportunities and areas of improvement.
  • Conduct periodic customer satisfaction surveys to improve customer.
  • Visit customers market to explore opportunities and market pulse.
  • Manage implementation of each business unit trade plans in coordination with each Category Trade Marketing Manager.
  • Effective use and implementation of display rentals maximizing investments in the market.
  • Ensure in-store promotions are carried out according to company policy. Promotion efficiency and calendar, roll-out of Return on Investment for promotion
  • Good internal and external customer relations.
  • Planogramming done in line with customer specifications/ performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor s Degree in Business Administration/Commerce
  • At least 5 Years Key account management and/or Trade Marketing experience in reputable FMCG organization in the Middle east.
  • Experience in managing international Key Accounts
  • Excellent customer relationship building skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication English skills, and verbal in Arabic
  • With Valid UAE driving license
  • Computer literate
  • Proven track record of delivering results in a competitive environment.
  • Male Candidate between 30 to 40 Years old.
  • Category Management and knowledge of sales analysing tools (Business Objects) will be an advantage.
