Position Details
- The Graduate – Highways Engineer should ideally have exposure to Road design software including AutoCAD and Civil3D
Responsibilities
- Be able to assist the senior engineers in preparing a of scope of works documents and projects design criteria
- Be able to understand and apply the QA/QC checking procedures as per company policy to ensure sound and coordinated design both internally and across other disciplines
- Has the basic experience and understanding in the design of Roads (plans, profiles, typical sections, cross sections and signage)
- Demonstrate excellent working knowledge in the preparation of Power Point presentations and progress reports
- Possesses sound communication and writing skills along with preparing technical reports
- Basic understanding and working knowledge of Roads design software
- Understanding of engineering standards, codes of practice and local authority guidelines is a plus
- Consultancy road design internship is a plus
Requirements
- This role is only open to UAE Nationals Bachelor or Master of Science in Civil Engineering with courses taken in Roads/Highways related subjects from an accredited University
- Must have graduated within the last 12 months or graduating no later than June 2023
- Successful applicants must have a minimum 3
- 3 GPA or 2:1 (or equivalent) and above
