Reporting to the Head of HR GIH & International Health (IH Marketing), and working closely with the business, this role will mainly be responsible for managing and executing all people activities in the DIFC office, and also support IH Marketing and other businesses
Responsibilities
Assist with the development and administration of programs, procedures, and guidelines to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the company
Implement HR programs and practices – this includes staffing processes, reward and recognition programs, performance management, absence management, diversity initiatives and effective communication processes
Provide advice and coaching to line managers in the resolution of performance management, absence management and employee relations issues
Identify people and process challenges and facilitates resolution by influencing key stakeholders and lead organizational design
Review HR policies and update as required following any company, regulatory, compliance updates
Liaise closely with COE functions
Talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, learning and development as required
Prepare for and analyze reports that are necessary to carry out the functions of the department and company
Prepare periodic reports for management, as necessary or requested
Manage employee relation processes and ensure all necessary protocols are followed
Involve in IH projects and other ad-hoc responsibilities as required by the business and the wider HR team
Requirements
3 – 5 years HR experience; any HR specialist experience will be an advantage
Understanding of HR policies and procedures, as well as local laws
Practical applications on HR systems, report generation, MS Excel and PowerPoint as data-driven advice to the business will be a key enabler
Candidates with less experience but demonstrating exceptional learning agility and attitude may be considered for a less senior role
